Ingredients

Vegan milk:
Cornstarch:
Sugar:
Turmeric powder:
Agar-Agar:
Vainilla:

1 liter
4 tablespoons
10 tablespoons
1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon

Instructions

1. Dilute cornstarch in a glass of plant-based milk.
2. Pour the mixture into the saucepan and add the rest of the plant-based milk.
3. Add 4 tablespoons of sugar, vanilla, agar-agar and turmeric.
4. Cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened.
5. Once thickened, turn off the heat and let it sit at room temperature.
6. In another saucepan, over low heat, dilute 6 tablespoons of sugar in 3 tablespoons of water.
7. Cook until a caramel is formed.
8. Pour the caramel over the flan and refrigerate until it solidifies.
